Reka Hosszu has been a European Commission Policy Officer since 2007. She is currently working for the Directorate-General of Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) standards policy unit (H3), and is a member of the European Commission’s Task Force Rolling Plan on ICT Standardisation.
Blockchain is a crucial technology for EU’s industrial leadership on the international level. BlockStand will not only strengthen European leadership in global blockchain standardisation but will also ensure that internationally used standards reflect European values and needs.
Thanks to experts’ coordinating inputs, the project is an essential means to prop up Europe’s strategic autonomy.
